Mostly done with my little project!

So I got something from the craft store yesterday that I thought would keep me busy for a while. I guess once I start something, I must finish it before I move, cuz that's what I did today. I still have to put on the finishing sparkly coat and find the right spot in my place to hang it... but here it is....tell me what you think?!!??!

So I got the letters of my last name to paint and then stencil some pretty stuff on to make it not so plain. I also found a key hanger box (that I had been looking for) to paint and hang by the door. So here are some pictures of my final product, minus the finishing shiny coat.....I had to take several so you could really see what it looks like... not so bad for my first time doing something like this....

I know, save your applause....I know I'm awesome! ha It turned out exactly as I pictured it so that was pretty cool. I bought these little kiddy stencils and kinda used them how I wanted to... the paint didn't wanna work with me at first but I got it goin like I wanted. I got this kinda shiny coat to put on, but I think I will wait and do it tomorrow.... and the letters are so thin, all I have to do is nail them to the wall. But I'm not sure where to put it. My intentions were like over my couch.... but I dont know. Then I thought in my kitchen.... well let me take some pics of where I'm thinking, and I will post on here for some ideas....I LOVE this blog!!!!

Yeah, I have no idea where Im gonna put it??!!! I have nothing on any of my walls yet.... so I need something. Now, for the little key house I did....well it didn't come out like I imagined so one for one I guess. I wanted it like a brown and kinda a cinnamon brown color....you know, 2 browns that went well together.... but it seems like I got almost the same color.... and it didn't paint very easily so it doesn't look very good....so Im gonna have to go get another color paint and try and fix it up. But what color??? And where??? I dont know what to do with it now??? I do have the perfect spot for it....so at least I dont have a placement problem....

Yeah, not real happy with the outcome of this one.... but I know I can fix it.... just not sure what to do now??? But I think I have done all Im gonna do today. Gonna save those e-mails for tomorrow and finish it all up tomorrow too maybe? What's the hurry right? I still got another week and a half till anyone else will see it!

Anyway, let me know what you think.... and give me some suggestions.... where to put it and what to do with the key house???? Yay! Thanks!
